If you want a fast and very good meal, the monastery stew should be on your list. It is nutritious due to the vegetables it contains and gives you the energy you need during the day.

This food is a lunch that everyone loves, and you will convince yourself of this after tasting it for the first time.

Ingredients you need for 8 servings:

- 5 medium-sized pumpkins

- 6 large and juicy tomatoes

Method of preparation:

Peel an onion, finely chop and sauté in 3-4 tablespoons of oil and a little water.

Wash the tomatoes, peel them, cut them into small pieces and add them over the onion. The fire is kept to a minimum.

Wash the potatoes and carrots, peel them and cut them into cubes, then add them to the pot on the fire and let them boil for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, clean the mushrooms and cut them into slices, and cut the zucchini and peppers into cubes. Add all these vegetables to the pot and bring to a boil.

Most of the time it is not necessary to add water, because the tomatoes leave a lot of juice.

However, you should check that the liquid in the pot is enough for all the vegetables to boil completely.
