Choose and wash the rice well.

The milk is boiled together with the sugar, vanilla essence and salt powder. When it is about to boil, add the rice, and let it simmer until the grain blooms. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

The first time I arrived in Portugal, my husband, then a friend, said to me:

& # 8211 No better milk rice was invented than the Portuguese one.

The truth is that the Portuguese have a culture of rice pudding. You can find it everywhere, from a simple cafe to a sophisticated wedding.

It took me more than 4 years to discover the recipe that is the ACEA recipe.

There are a lot of versions on the internet, but they were either too sweet, or too liquid, or too dry.

So, a few years ago, I took advantage of a party with my husband's extended family and took the perfect recipe from an aunt of his.

And if I still found out, I will pass it on to those who are curious and eager for a traditional Portuguese dessert.

He saves us with snacks between children's meals, and Andre also goes to school.

And if I didn't set a limit, I would eat it in the morning, at noon and in the evening until the last grain of rice.

Rice with milk and berry sauce

Preparation: Bake the pine seeds in a pan and leave them on a plate to cool.

Preparation: Boil the milk with the cream. Take the pot of milk off the heat, add the dessert rice, stirring constantly, using a whisk. After all the rice has been added, continue stirring vigorously for another minute. The rice with milk thus prepared is left covered, at rest, for about 10 minutes, then mixed once more. Incorporate half the amount of pine seeds.

Pour the rice with milk into the plates, decorate with the rest of the pine seeds and serve with the berry jam.

    1. Banana mash in a puree using a conventional plow.

    2. Divide the banana into the egg mixture.

    3. Add honey and warm milk. Interfere.

    5. Add the baking powder.

    6. And, after just adding flour. Interfere.

    7. We get dough, which at the same density as the pancake test.

    8. Fry pancakes on a dry pan, because there is already a test oil.

    9. When the bottom of the pancake grabs, and the pancake is covered with bubbles, turn over and fry for two minutes on the second side.


    Rice pudding cake

    A very special cake, with the help of which you will surely amaze your guests! Learn how to make rice milk cake too!

    1. For rice milk, put any kind of rice with water to swell, in a cool place. Leave for 4 hours, discard the soaking water and boil with the water mentioned in the ingredients. Let it boil for 10 minutes and then let it rest for 15 minutes. Mix, filter and use.

    2. For the dough, the same cup is used as a measure, which is used first for the dry ingredients and then for the milk.

    3. Put in a bowl the flour, coconut flakes, sugar, baking powder and mix. Then add the rice milk.

    4. Grease the baking tray with oil and pour in the flour mixture. With a well-sharpened knife, draw the portions and put whole walnut lambs in the middle of each one. Bake for 40 minutes and then allow to cool completely in the pan.


    Rice with milk and strawberries

    Method of preparation: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Combine the milk with the sugar and lemon zest, mix them. The rice is cooked thermally in a cup of water. The water is boiled and, after reaching 100 degrees Celsius, it is removed from the heat. Put the rice and a lid and let it cook in the steam. Take it out of the pot and put it in a pan over low heat.

    Combine with cinnamon on the fire. Then pour the milk mixture into the pan. Add to the bowls that are kept in the oven for 30 minutes. At the end, take them out of the oven, wait for them to cool and combine them with large pieces of fresh strawberries. Serve with natural cream. When baking, avoid aluminum molds, as particles from this metal enter the ingredients once they are subjected to high temperatures.

    Aluminum, which comes with food in the human body, is stored mainly in nerve tissues. It is more dangerous for children than for adults. Because I just gave you a perfect recipe for the little ones, don't spoil it with improper oven containers. Also, do not use aluminum foil in the oven for the same reason.

    The hot preparations do not come into contact with the plastic wrap either. If at high temperatures the plastic discharges dangerous substances, placed over a cold preparation, prevents the air from entering normally and thus promotes the growth of dangerous bacteria, including salmonella.


    Rice with milk and cinnamon & # 8211 Classic recipe. You can also add fruit on top if you want

    I found out from friends who are passionate about gastronomy that for a liter of milk you need about 250-300 gr. of rice. This is where you choose to boil the rice directly in the milk. That's what I saw in my grandmother.

    He did it in the polenta pot, but he never measured. He put about two liters of milk, when it started to boil add the sugar and rice. Only she knows how much she was putting in because she didn't measure it at all.

    Then he would light the fire from the smaller stove and let it boil until the grains blossomed, absorbed the milk and the delicious rice pudding thickened. As far as I can tell, it's not important if you put a little more milk than you need, but it's a problem if you put less, the rice has no way to continue cooking.

    I made a recipe for rice with milk that I did not boil in milk but in water. Well, if you're wondering if it tastes good, I assure you it's very good. Basically, the grain is semi-boiled in water, which means that it also absorbs water and milk. Sure it's good, but not as fatty as rice boiled only in milk. So, it is a recipe for rice with light, dietary milk. And if the taste is good, why not cook healthier, with less fat and without sugar?

    Ingredient:

    • a cup of rice with a small grain, washed in three waters, at least
    • milk, about 500 ml. (I got two healthy servings)
    • vanilla extract, I used powder
    • or cinnamon
    • or cardamom powder
    • or lemon or orange peel, depending on what you have in the closet or what you like
      berries according to preference, in my case, strawberries
      honey

    You may also like the pancakes with quince jam and vanilla ice cream

    Boil the rice in 500 ml. of water until it's half done. Separately, boil the milk.
    Drain the rice water and add it to the milk bowl. After it starts to boil again, continue cooking on a low temperature, over low heat, stirring occasionally.
    Add your favorite flavors: cinnamon, vanilla, etc.

    At some point, you will notice that the rice pudding has thickened, leaving very little unabsorbed milk. Now the dessert is ready.

    You can add the strawberries directly to the bowl in which it boiled or separately, in bowls.
    Put a tablespoon of honey in a bowl, then add a few tablespoons of rice with milk, then put another tablespoon of honey and rice with milk. Add your favorite fruits on top and enjoy this quick, tasty and healthy dessert.


    • 1 tablespoon whole milk, burnt *
    • 1/3 pot unprepared rice (long white rice)
    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar **
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1. Preheat the oven to 300 F.
    2. In a 1 1/2 baking dish, combine all ingredients.
    3. Bake for 2 1/2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes. This will give the pudding a creamy texture.
    4. If desired, sprinkle the portions with cinnamon or a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.

    * How to bathe milk - Put the milk in a heavy pan over medium heat. Heat the milk, stirring frequently. Turn the bottom of the tray over often to make sure it is hardened or glued.

    When the steam starts and small bubbles form around the edge, remove it from the heat. If you use a thermometer, look for a temperature of about 182 F (83 C).

    * Add about 1/2 cup of granulated sugar to a sweet pudding.
